fs/ft feeler 4.10 lsd and 3.73 open 325is

    fs/ft feeler 4.10 lsd and 3.73 open 325is

    i have a S4.10 lsd from a m3 with medium case with around 130k miles and an open 3.73 with a medium case with less than 100k miles. looking for a S3.73 lsd or lower. let me know what you have or offer.

          So what do these lsd's do? Lower RPM's on freeway and/or increase acceleration? Sorry i'm a real n00b. Interested though.

            a 4.10 in a 325i/iS will increase accleration but the rpm's will be higher on the free way.

            a 3.73 in a 325i/iS will not accelerate as quick as the 4.10 but you will not be running as high rpms on the freeway as the 4.10

            I am not sure what type of gas mileage you would get with the 4.10 compared to the 3.73. I am sure someone else on here would know.

            3.73 is stock on 5-speed 325i

                318is has a 4,10 lsd small case... no need to get the medium case for the 318is...
