It is Alum. I am not sure of the brand. I bought it a while ago and never installed it.

Yes they are.

Its not just M3's. Bmw "officially" only made one e30 chassis. But I doesn't matter which car you have, I have seen 2 e30 M3's with 2 different strut tower widths. 39.5" and 38.5". Mine is 38.5. My old 325 was 39.5. But they still say there is only one body. Strut tower sag is the explanation, but I find it hard to believe that they all sagged the exact same amount. 1".
