It's time for me to part with my turbo setup. This is the turbo setup that's been in my drift car since Feb. '07. Although the use is clear, I always took proper care of the setup. Anytime I removed the turbo I always primed it before firing it up, and I always use a Blitz Turbo Timer which I set up to 4 minutes while at the track (and use the auto setting while on the street).
Details:
666 Fabrication Turbo Adapter
Retails for: $490 + $55 for the 38mm external opening + Shipping
More specific pictures & pricing at 666fabrication.com
Condition: Used, but in perfect shape.
XSPower T3/T04E Turbo
Retails for: $160 + $40 shipping
Source: eBay Motors.
Known specs: .82 A/R Turbine Housing / .60 A/R Compressor Housing. Oil cooled cartridge.
Condition: Spools up fine, currently still on this setup so I have not checked for shaft play, so I do not believe there's reason to be any. The compressor oil seal is bad though, and leaks oil in the intercooler pipes. Nothing massive, definetly not enough to have to top off the engine.
Also comes with: .63 A/R Turbine Housing. I purchased this housing and already had it machined to the wheel on this specific turbo. I just never got around doing it. This turbo (with the .82 A/R back housing) sees full boost at about 4500 rpms, and I can provide video if necessary. For drifting I would personally prefer a smaller housing for faster spool, but the car is a highway monster. Price invested here: $70 for housing + $50 for machine work.
Downpipe
Comes off the turbo's back housing (3" V-Band) and has a 90 degree bend by the firewall to a 3 bolt flange (3" as well). Has the O2 bung on it up top. It's not the most beautiful thing, but it gets the job done. Whether you'd like to keep using the .82 or swap the .63 will be up to you. Cost spent there: $100.
Stock headers
I'll throw these in if you would like. They are sandblasted and painted black, although a lot of it has faded away. If interested, specify if you would like them so I can organize the shipping quote.
Here is the only picture I have of this setup right now:
More pictures will be available once I remove the setup off the car (late next week).
Asking price $570 + shipping.
