FS: E36 M3/ti 5-lug

I've got complete front strut assemblies (minus springs and strut inserts) from a '97 M3. That includes the calipers, carriers, pads, rotors, strut bodies, knuckles, and strut top mounts.

I've also got complete trailing arm assemblies (minus pads and rotors) from a '95 318ti. Includes complete trailing arms with brake hardlines, calipers, and carriers.

I'm selling this because I need E30 M3 suspension components because the offset will work with all of the 5-lug wheels I have taking up space in the garage. I'd like to get $850 shipped for the whole setup, but I'm open to offers.

Also, I will consider trades. I am especially interested in a E30 M3 262 transmission shift linkage assembly and driveshaft. I'd also like to find a set of E30 M3 front strut assemblies, or a complete E30 M3 suspension.

Damn, if only I had my own garage and started my new job sooner. Is this swap hard to do, or do you just plug in the parts straight in once they are sourced?

It's plug-and-play really, to me. Not bad at all.

For the front-- You need E30 M3 upper strut mounts. To keep your front suspension geometry correct, you would need offset '97-99 M3 control arms, with either the Treehouse Racing eyeball bushings or offset '95 M3 control arm bushings. I would also buy new strut inserts, just to upgrade while you are in there. Koni or Bilstein, whatever. Those are all good preventative items anyway. From there, you assemble everything and it will bolt in like the factory strut assembly.

For the rear-- I would remove the hubs from the trailing arms, get some new wheel bearings, and press them into the E30 rear arms. That would be the simplest way. Then you just bolt up the carriers, calipers, rotors, pads, and you are all set.

Straight foward really. May sound like a good bit, but it's not.

I'd really like to keep this setup because the brakes would be great on the track, but I have too many 15" E30 M3 offset wheels around the house that wouldnt work right with these parts. You need E36 offset wheels, like the DSIIs that are popular.

I am in the process of buying a set of DS IIs. I wish I had the money to buy this too. I guess the wheels will have to sit while I buy the parts to do this swap.
