Ok here is the deal..
I'm in a generous mood and I would rather see these go to improve the life of another E30 than sit in a box in my garage.
I just upgraded my headlamps to smoked hellas. I didn't need to because mine were fine, but I'm sure there is a deserving E30 or two who would benefit from my offer.
The ideal candidate car would be
1) upgrade from your sealed beam
2) replace those cracked, broken H1/H4's
The history:
My car was originally a sealed beam, however it was the beneficiary of the early H1/H4 conversion. This was seen as a simple, cost-effective way to improve the light output over those anemic sealed beams, as well as it allowed the user to simply change a bulb, rather than the entire headlamp. It also allowed for some degree of personalization as there are a variety of bulbs on the market.
The Bad:
I cannibalized the H1 wiring (because I wanted the original wire connection), but I do have extra connectors which I will include so you should be good to go. All you will need is 4 lengths of 14 gauge wire about 6" long.
The Good:
These have never suffered from moisture as they are not cracked or broken! There is mild sandblasting on the lenses, which is to be expected. I also primed and painted the retaining rings with black trim paint, such a small detail that goes a long way! I recently won a local Euro car show with these in, they served me well. Did I mention they are free!?!?
The Ugly:
I'm not going to sugar coat it. There is your typical rust on the backs of the lens housing (something you will never see, unless they are out of the car). I'm also including the headlight brackets but they are dirty, clean them if you want. Oh, and there might be a bug gut or two.
I'm going to go on a first pm'd, first dib basis. New owner is only responsible for shipping!
Also I have a pair of H4 PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs that I will throw in with the offer for a mere $20 (they are new this year, with only a few hours on them). And I also have a pair of H1's, I don't know how old they are, nor do I know the color output but they appear to be your standard 3500 - 4000K or so (just a guess). I always handle bulbs with rubber gloves on, so I give no warranty on bulbs - use gloves!
To save myself from answering a bunch of shipping questions I did an estimate of the shipping costs to the lower 48 since most here are from the U.S. If you live outside the U.S. please feel free to ask.
Shipping within 7 business days $50
Shipping within 11 business days $30
if you want the PIAA H4 bulbs ad $20 to the shipping quote.
if you want a pair of H1's add $10
if you want both then add $25
I accept PayPal only.
