I hope you can forgive the question, but I did STF and 24lb injectors are so common that the answer was not evident:

In my 24V swap I'm already running 21.5lb injectors and a 540i MAF, with software to match. Providing I'm willing to update the software for 24lb injectors, would I see any real gain? If so, how much? I've heard before that the only reason to install 24lb injectors is if you have schricks or similar in an S52 and are running into lean issues at high RPM.

Hey man,

I put that in there just because I have them laying around. My initial use for them was to install them in my M42 but clearly I'm not going that route...which is also why I have 4 of them for sale.

As for gaining something if you upgrade to 24#'s my best guess is that you will see something but you'll have to update the software as you mention.

Don't quote me on it though because I haven't looked into injectors for m5x/s5x swaps yet...but I know that I won't be needing these.
