    feeler-startecs

there is a car in a local junkyard with a pair of Startecs in it. The passenger side light is in reasonably good shape, but needs to be cleaned out. The other light is cracked badly. Both are missing back plates, but all of the studs are there.

I'd be willing to send these to anyone willing to pay for shipping and whatever the lights cost me. They are useless to me, but I really don't want them to get crushed.

I DO NOT have these currently in my possession, but I will go pick them up if they are still there if anyone is interested.

    EDIT: $70 shipped

I now actually have the lights, and I found some back plates (the bulb holders) as well. I'll post pics and a price once I clean them up.

Okay, everything is as cleaned up and ready to go as I am going to get it. Just FYI, the bulb carriers are not original, so they do not have the wiring for rear fogs.

These lights cleaned up a lot better than I expected. The chrome on the back is a bit worn, but the actual reflectors are fine. I just washed the lenses out, so there are some water droplets on the inside in the pics. Also, the gaskets are a bit cracked. they should seal fine, though.

The one major issue is the piece missing from the driver's side turn signal. I think that this could be repaired with the use of a blowtorch, silicone sealant, and a chunk of the reversing light off of another taillight. I'll leave that up to the buyer, though.

                Anyway, pics:

Everything you get. Bulb carriers, clamps, and all of the nuts.

The major damage. This light also has a light scuff mark on it, but it isn't noticeable.

                Lit up:

The passenger side light is in very good shape:

At this point, I'm looking for $70 shipped. If you want pics of anything else, let me know.
