    M20 rebuild feeler

Is anyone on this thread still interested in stock M20 rebuilds or does everyone just move up to the m50? I have rebuilt a couple m20's for my race car and have a couple that I wouldn't mind rebuilding to sell here. I want to see if there is any interest before I put money into the rebuild. I am talking complete rebuild and painting.

Let me know, I will research total cost before starting anything.

    m20 rebuild eh.
Do I supply the m20 or will you?
build to have certain parts in there? (JE pistons, eagle rods, MLS HG, etc)
how quick can you have one of these done?
    shipping up to Canada?

I can do it myself but I just dont have the room to do it.

You should list exactly what you have to offer? OEM rebuild or do you build for bigger dispacement or higher revs etc?

Hey guys, sorry, I am in Ohio and have been without power since Sunday, we just got it back this evening. Also, I stopped looking as I thought there was no interest. I was trying to get an idea as to what people might be interested in before I started researching further, I was thinking more along the lines of stock rebuilds to start and then moving into bigger and better builds. I have a couple of middle aged 130K m20's in my garage that I would start with, either offering a core charge until buyers motor is returned to me or charged for my core if they want to keep there own. This would be a complete tear down and rebuild with all new wear parts. Head and block sent out and tested and measured for trueness and dipped. Then painted, rebuilt crated and shipped.

Pistons, cams, shaving, boring, are all options. Once again I do not have any type of pricing and wanted to see if anyone was interested before I sunk a lot of time into researching cost. I would say total process from order date to delivery to be about a month.

I will have more info in the coming week as to costs.

                Tell us more!

Now that I'm a two E30 owner with some high-milage cars, I'm very interested.

Hey guys, I am still working on all the specifics. That last item is trying to figure out if the rebuilds can be tested before being shipped out. I do not want to have to install these into one of my cars, run them to make sure there are no issues, uninstall, then ship. The machine shop I am working is a performance engine build shop and I am trying to figure out if costs are in line, I am also trying to work out details of providing a warranty with the motors if they can be tested.

                    More answers soon.
