Hey everyone...

I purchased a parts car out of Spokane (Pullman actually, a few miles south) a while back.

While trying to get it transported, the *&@#^ property manager towed the car... (and no I am not exaggerating, or being a poor sport)

Soooooo, apparently, the car is currently at the towing yard, getting charged daily. I am too deep into the car, that I can no longer afford to get it out of storage, then down here. Someone who sees the value needs to go get it. Tomorrow. It may be possible to pick it up on the weekend, just let me know, and I can set that up.

The car is an 85 325e 5 speed. NON RUNNER. Clean body (white or silver?), Mtech1 wing, KW 60/60 suspension, was a turbo project. M20 manifold is either on the motor or may be in the trunk?

etc etc. I am trying to dig up a picture. This is a DEFINITE rebuilder.

The towing bill is $540 as of tomorrow.
I paid $1300 for the car. I would like to get $500 back. I have the title and key.

So, cliffs: PERFECT car to build into a racer, or a sweet daily driver.
In a perfect world, you will pay $1040 for the car. $540 to the towyard, $500 to me.

Again, this needs to happen A S A P.

So have you ever had possession of it? Did your property manager tow it or did the guy you bought it from? I'd be down to go in on this with a couple other people. I want the Mtech1 wing, suspension.

I bought it, tried to get it hauled, no one would pick it up. Finally I got someone that would go up there to pick it up, so I called the property manager of where the car was, and asked if she could go just verify that it was still there before I sent someone out there. She said that she couldn't even go look. WTMF? seriously?

Guess what, 2 days later it got towed. I talked to the guy at the tow yard, and he said that she placed the order to get it towed. What a bitch.

Someone needs to get the car. I can't pay another $540 to get it out, then another $350 to have it hauled to Portland.

I am open to negotiations... just get it out of the impound for the $540, and I will trade you the title for the suspension? This car is nice guys, someone needs to call me RE: it.

bump, just got off the phone with him.
I have worked it out that he will release it to whomever gives him $570 (plus $39 per day after today). The car is located about 75 miles south of Spokane. If you pay over the phone, he will stop the storage charges.
