Are they both the same length?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

They are both the same length, the only difference is the stitching pattern (refer to pictures.)

                    E34 e-brake handle is SOLD.

The E36 e-brake handle still remains.

I've got one that looks like the E34 handle in your photos, but it was too small diameter to fit over the metal ebrake handle and also shorter. Something I'm missing for direct fitment?

Eh, not sure. I have used the same E32/E34 e-brake handle on a few E30's and it fits well. With the stock "accordian-style" boot, it is a bit short, but it does fit on there.

Yeah I'm sure it was too short when I tried it before. I'm going to try switching mine out again today. Any idea where I can get a nice leather boot to replace the accordion style one? That way it may make up the gap--and look a lot better.
