I'm going to gauge interest on this little gem too. Its a 1991 318is. Alpine/black. interior/exterior is in fine condition. New tires on B-caps/new battery/new brakes 190,000 on engine/chassis still peppy runs fine. I think it has a 410 LSD? How do I check to make sure? Good carpet. Complete shadowline trim, trunk spoiler, good galss, and body pieces. Maybe no sunroof. I have to check.
Here is the deal with this car. The ac compressor is gone already and the rear seats have been sold too. The whole front end is gone already. No fenders, no hood, no radiator or supprt, no nose panel, no lights, no grills. Basically when you lookat this car from the front you see the two R/L frame rails and the front of the engine with all belts and acsseroies expexposed. However the rails are not damaged in any way. The apperance of this vehicle was not caused by an auto accident. It has a clean carfax and current reg.
So another E30 that would be good for parts but could also serve someone well if it was put back together. I figure with about 1K in parts bought through from the various forums or cheap suppliers we are able to use. Some generous buddies helping you. A front clip assembly could be put back together very easily. Then you have a clean 318is to start modding. What ever is chossen the most money for me is ideal. If selling parts will get me more cash so be it. If not I hope someone will put her back on the road. We shall see. I will have pics of this car by tomorrow night. So you can see what we are working with.
