Details on the engine in the zo6? Did they reinforce the transmission? I've been looking for a nice zo6 track car.

Transmission is bulletproof, I wouldn't know what to reinforce. The engine is a new Katech unit dynoed to make 438hp at the crank with stock ECU, exhaust and fuel. Should make 460HP wit the current exhaust, ECU and race fuel.
This is a Nationally competitive SCCA T1 race car owned by a wealthy guy who had me put the best of everything into it. He's selling because of family issues.

So I can have the yellow car?

E30rcr might be trying to make reference to upgraded shift forks, etc for the T56.

Eric, you know most of R3V can't afford the front valence on your E30 much less one of these beasts, right?

Gorgeous cars...as is expected from you.

$35k for a built c5 looks like a good deal!!! probably won't last long at that price ...

I've driven a stock c5 a few times, and went shutgun with a competitive driver in a mildly prepped c5z06 and I'll never forget it!

We have had a couple of them lose 2nd gear and sometimes third. I was just curious if you installed a beefed up unit. Still stock zo6 clutch? How many hours on the new engine?

Are you running an accusump or dry sump system?

                      What are the wheel/tire specs?

Did he go for coilovers in the rear or still leaf? Rates?

This is a new engine, 0 hours. Dyno time at Katech and idle time to check for leaks only. Has 3 qt. Accusump system. Coilovers, drysump racing clutches and the like are not allowed in SCCA T1 class. The leaf springs, sway bars are upgraded units only available from GM for this class and are plenty stiff. This Corvette and the Ferrari race in the same class, believe it or not, although the Ferrari has inlet restrictors and some other little things to slow it down and makes the Corvette and Ferrari nearly identical in speed at most tracks.

Wheels are 17x10 front, 17x11 rear, with either 315/35 all around or 295/35 in front.

I know, it's free advertising though, and you never know who might know somebody who knows somebody.
Good thing my E30 came with that front valance, cause I can't afford it either.
