Well the hangers were made when I watched my friend try to install his wheels on and hold his spacers in place at the same time.

I made my spacers hub centering to help with install but his were universal and slide all over the place.

Usually you can get away with one of them but if you don't have hubcentric spacers then having two of these hangers works best.

You thread them in opposing holes and it centers the spacer and the wheel for you. Install the first two bolts and then replace the hangers with the other two bolts.

Why I didn't think of this, I have no idea. Somehow, it's just too freakin' hard for me to mount my wheels with non-hubcentric spacers and not get any wobble.

Still have to machine the rod down to 12mm or 14mm diameter, machine one end with the hex head and the other with the threads.

How about making hub extenders?

Made them in the past and would consider making them again if there is demand.
