    M42 head.....

Yep. Pretty straight forward. 170,000 miles.
I would get it pressure tested and resurfaced before installing it, but it came off of a running motor. The PO replaced all of the lifters just a few hundred miles ago. I'm not sure why. I think he got rooked by another shop. The motor really just needed a new tensioner. What they thought was lifter noise was just chain slack. Either way, thats a serious bonus b/c lifters are $30 a piece x 16 = $480!!

I scavenged the crank out of the motor for an FI build and just don't need the head. So I guess that means the block, rods, pistons, etc. are available too. I actually have to sets of everything in that list; block pistons, etc.

Cam gears look newer. They have definitely been replaced at one time, but not sure when.

Not sure exactly what its worth in today's market, but I figure $300 + Shipping is a good starting point. PM me with interest and offers. I can ship it with or without the intake/exhaust manifolds if you want them too. Shipping for just the head will likely be around $60 max (UPS Ground) to the furthest reaches from San Diego.
