just wondering, how is the turn signal stalk with a 13 button obc equipped e30 differ from ones equipped with 6 button?

my turn signal is acting up on me [on left turns only] and my e30's 13 button obc doesnt fully work, could that also be the culprit?
oh and does that mean i cant get a turn signal from a 6 button equipped e30?

the factory obc equiped cars came with a turn signal stalk labeled "bc" that you can push in to cycle through the menu on the computer. you don't need it to make your obc work, but it definitely adds to the usability. by the way, not to poop on your thread, but the full conversion would also include a buzzer that is clipped to obc brain box. one of the functions of the obc is that you can set an alarm to go off when the car exceeds a preset speed.

you mean it could be used like a mouse of some sort?
i wouldnt know because my OBC wasn't working when i got the car.

what are other things i could replace to make the obc work?

Does it need a new lightbar for the computer? Everything work great? PM me. I am pretty interested.

naplesE30, you will need to buy the correct coding plug for the M42 as well. I picked mine up for ~$67 from BMAparts. Otherwise, this is everthing you need.

isnt the coding plug only if you are going to use the code function?
