731 cylinder head and matching manifold

Cylinder head sold to forum member.

This cylinder head came form 234000 miles 1985 E28 520i. It is the same cylinder head as used in the E30 323i.

I will admit it is not particularly clean but the face once cleaned up looks straight and the when the car ran it ran with no cooling issues so I assume no cracks. None are visible anyway. The camsahft lobes appear clean but the rest of it could do with a clean. Valves seem unbent and car had a full service history and one ownwer for 24 years till I bought it for spares. This head had never been removed so was one its original headgasket.

Please note this cylinder head had a tappety sound coing from it when the car ran so I would advise that the head is stripped cleaned and rebuilt as I cannot say for certain if a fiddle with a feeler gauge will sort this out.

The matching manifold is available also with M20 2.0 injectors for the L-jetronic system.

I have tried to put a complete description of the item. Bear in mind carrige would be from the UK so factor that into the offer. Carriage costs are unknown.

Weight approx 20kg? Size well the size of a M20 cylinder head.
Manifold weight ~10kg
