I did the modifications for the rear bumper. All the joining was done through plastic welding, with some plastic epoxy on the outside as filler.

TD325, Your work looks great. Am I correct in saying that modifying the rear bumper is not necessary for 'verts? (mine is 1988)

I've got DB's & want to do a plastic swap.

Correct, they will fit a vert without modification.
