insterested, and local. so "midpipes" is from manifolds to the flanges right after the cats/resonators? a little confused
edit: will the modified one fit on obd2 exhaust manifolds? -
Yes. Its a direct bolt on. I used it on my s52 swap with 535/m5 (e28) motor mounts with no spacers and didn't have any clearance issues with the subframe/sway bar. It will bolt on with no problem. It will even mate to a stock e30 muffler or any after market e30 catback.
The welds aren't that pretty but they work with no leaks. Let me know.

What was customized on the OBD1 midpipes besides cutting out the cats?
Why arent you using these on your swap?
As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.Comment

Straight 2.25 inch pipes in place of cats with e30 flanges welded on below resonators so its a plug and play system for a stock e30 exhaust/catback or aftermarket catback for the e30.
I'm getting another set of obd2 midpipes but in absolute mint condition which is only what I'd like to put on my car.

Bump ttt. Price changed for obd1 95 m3 mid pipe to 100. When I say direct bolt on, its direct. Just slap it on to obd1/obd2 manifolds and connect it to your OEM/Aftermarket catback for the e30 and you are on your way.
