It's hard to rate the way you are describing.
The steering will be harder at very low speeds, but anything over 10mph, and you really begin to notice the increase in sensitivity and you get much more feedback.

I just got mine...I must admit, I was worried cause at first i thought it was supposed to be aluminum. But further inspection, This is a nice piece!!! Surprised me on how this thing was built!! Thumbs up!!!
