I got a set of 24 pounders for sale that I am replacing with new 42 pounders. I don't know the mileage on them but they are in nice shape and have metal bodies. Pics soon if necessary.
I've been complaining for a long time about the way people describe injectors. Calling them just 19 or 24 lb isn't the best way to do it. Using colors to describe them is downright foolish as Bosch and Ford both make many different size injectors that are the same color.
ID them by the part number and everyone knows what you are talking about. My 2 cents worth......
Well most people who know what they are looking for understand that the ford injectors are yellow for 19, blue for 24, red for 32, and green for 42, and i just advertised their flow rate. These are Ford blue tops pulled from a mustang.
I have 8 of them so I will include 2 extra to replace the one with the missing pintle cap.
Nope, the colors don't always tell you what you have. I think I have 3 different style Bosch injectors that are green and I have seen others that I didn't want. And for sure a blue Ford injector isn't the same as a blue Bosch.
I know most people are going to continue to ID injectors the way it's been done, but if you add the part # or a clear photo of the part # you can't go wrong.
well the ford injectors usually go by the colors, but I agree they arent universal. bosch does have blue 24 pounders, its not really a big deal anyways. Its easy to advertise injectors by their flow rate.
