FS: Crosshairs to Smoke your highbeams. $30 shipped

Had a batch made up by waterjet using 22 gauge (.029") steel. These are for smoking you euro ellipsoid highbeam as documented in this thread: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...ghlight=smoked

The previously stated template will not be necessary for these to work in US spec high beams. The difference is minimal, and based on numerous others using these in their US highs, i won't be offering any kind of template. Also, you will either need to cut off the evaporator tube where it enters the housing, or mount the crosshairs in an "X" pattern.

The metal will arrive bare, so you will need to paint them black yourself. (or another color if you want)

Although I haven't actually done this yet, feel free to post any questions, and I or someone else will answer.

Price is $30 shipped to 48 states, PM me for other locations.

    Paypal is turkishdelight11@hotmail.com

    Thanks
    -Turk

Paypal incoming. I've been waiting since that last thread!

EDIT: Mine will come with a request asking for the US spec template.

Turk, how many of these exactly are available? I'm interested in turning my Depo Ellipsoid into smoked crosshairs.

I had 27 sets made. Between the few sets I want to keep, and the ones sold already, I have about 18 left.

Thanks to everyone that has committed already. You should recieve them mid-next week!

To all that requested these for their US high beams, I have sent you and email stating no need for any trimming.

Many others have used the same template for their US specs with good results. If you want, cut out the rough shape of the crosshairs out of cardboard, minus the mounting tabs, and place them in the housing. You will see the small gaps towards the bottom of the bowl. Shouldn't and hasn't been an issue from those i've talked to who've put them in their US specs.

I'll leave it up to you if you want to trim any excess.
