Exactly!
You guys are killing me here.
I almost want to buy a shell and put the engine in instead!

I would love to offer my shell as a home for adoption for your engine. I'll pick it up, and love it like it was born from my own loins. Me and the misses won't even tell her she was adopted.Comment

uggh i just got a loan for another e30. I want to put this engine in it lol $1700 is a steal what's wrong with it?
Do you have compression numbers?
I live all the way up in Canada I bet the shipping costs would surpass the price paid too wouldn't it?
Grrr I soo want this engine!

I will not ship it, and I will not take anything lower than $1700 picked up for it, because it's an insult to sell this for anything lower.

I hope you have receipts for everything that's been done to it. I could only cringe for fellow members when a person with 11 posts sells something incomplete (sensors), broken (tabs), and sells it AS IS.

Compression numbers would definitely help. But looks like the engine it already out of the car if I read that right.uggh i just got a loan for another e30. I want to put this engine in it lol $1700 is a steal what's wrong with it?

Freight shipping to a residential address (in the US anyway) runs about $2-300 on average. Even still it would be a great deal - although it's a PITA for the seller to ship so I understand why he doesn't want to. Shame though, I'd be all over it.sigpicComment

It read 190psi cold, all 6 cylinders, +/- 1 psi. I did this right after putting the head back on, which was ~2k miles ago.
I am not going to ship, because I do not want to deal with putting it on a pallet, and possibly having it damaged during shipping.
This is a deal for locals.

Haha, honestly. I just want a straight up deal, and someone to come pick this up from me.
You can call me, PM, or e-mail me as many questions as you have, if you have/feel any concerns at all.
92 mtechnic cabrio can vouch for me if needed!
I am selling it as-is because I don't want to deal with any sort of hassle, or any buyer's remourse. Hence why you should get all of the questions out of the way beforehand.
Again, the only reason why this engine is coming out of the car is because the flex disc (guibo) broke on it, breaking the transmission mounting tabs in the process. It broke other things on the car, but it was unrelated to the engine at all.

Ahh.. damn check still not here. I'm hoping it's enough to cover my bills and hopefully maybe scoop this deal up.Originally posted by csermonet47Vlad, you are handling this quite unprofessionally.
Also, you are a cock with tacky taste.
That is all.Comment

Let me know :)
I'll even take a deposit from you ($200), and hold onto the engine for a bit, if you wanted to do that.
I just need a week's head notice, ideally, so I can get the engine out. Everything is ready to be pulled out, I just need to tell my friend to bring the engine hoist over, since I have no room to store it at my place.

Someone buy this already. Fuck.
