I have a 89, with plastic bumpers but no airbags — is this something I still would need?

Hey everyone, should have these available again by early next week. I'll send everyone a PM, thanks for the interest.

As for the 89' with plastic bumpers, you wont need a steering rack plate. Instead you need to modify the steering knuckle (same process as the early models). Make sure your car wasn't swapped out for a non airbag steering wheel though at some point in its life, in which case you would need a plate.

And yes, this should have no issues working with e46 racks.

Okay sounds good, I have the snob-airbag kick panel above the pedals also, so I’m going to assume I should be good.
