Selling 3D printed and Machined Air dam Brackets for E30

Hi all, I have 3D printed some brackets for early model E30 air dams. I installed them on my car and they hold up just fine. They are printed in PETG, but if there is a demand for 6061 Aluminum I can get those machined too. Of course the cost for machining aluminum brackets will be more, IÂ’m estimating $110. I can print a batch or machine a batch based on demand. Plastic 3D printed: $65 plus shipping 6061 Aluminum machined: $110 plus shipping Please let me know if youÂ’re interested. Nice work!

You don't want to make them out of metal, as they are designed to brake on substantial impact with the air dam so it separates from the car, rather than folding under and bending front sheet metal. That's why it's pretty flimsy, with small ribs. The same idea with the later E30s that have plastic bumpers -- the 'i' or 'is' lip is held with plastic clips that pretty easily brake off on impact. Essentially a disposable one-impact part.
