ID:	9931860 All cabrio owners (vert to some of you guys) know that after 30 years the seal gets dry and brittle and no longer prevents water from leaking into your tool tray. I am working with a guy who might be able to remanufacture the seal. Currently the only way to get the seal is to buy the unit at $250. A seal will be closer to $25 - $30 each. I am asking for feedback and if I should have put this in group purchase, perhaps the Admin can move it?

I would like to find a better example as my guy would mold from existing if possible.

I'm interested in one as well. When I had my trunk apart for paint my seal was a very big piece that covered the entire bottom of the housing. Is this to just go around the perimeter of the housing, instead of like the big original seal?

That must be the early version. What year is your car?
