Miles are unknown to me. I got this a few years ago from an older friend who retired and kicked the car habit. He was a former BMW masterT..at the same dealer as I but years before me. I dont think he would have kept it so long and passed it to me if it was no good..Wish I could tell you more.

All I can tell you is that 5th gear is 1:1, not overdriven. This box goes better with lower(numericaly) diff. ratios. I also have a 260 with 220K on it 4 sale.

There was another one floating around here at $200.00, so that should be a good baseline.

I called up my buddy for the details...This trans was replaced with new under warranty in 92' or 93'. It was replaced due to the cracked mount(which you can see in pic is fixed). As I said before my friend was a dealer tech(master cert. BTW) and he "ended up" with this gearbox. He had it fixed back in 93' but never did anything with it. It sat until 2006.. when I got hold of it. I decoded the VIN on the trans, it said the car was a Oct. 91' production E36 325i. He could not remember the exact mileage, but swore to me to be 36K or less(as was the warranty at the time).

This gearbox is crated and ready to ship...$335 to your door. Given the low mileage and time/materials to crate this, I think this is a very fair price.
