Actually, the e34 handle is shorter than the regular e30 handle by a pretty large margin, unless you have a longer boot, it will show.

Well, this one is the same length as the one I currently have installed, and it's prefectly fine. Maybe I'm jumbling e-codes, but it's the proper length. In my defense, the car I pulled it from didn't have much left in terms of bodywork, so I'm just guessing at the e34 bit.

I can get a pic of this one next to the one in my car right now. They're both fine.

E36, E34, and E32 all have the same length handles. That is probly from an E23, E24, or E28, which all had longer handles. usually those cars didn't have leather ones though. Different shape, too.
