FS: Bilstein B8 Sport shocks *Bay Area

Lightly used set of B8 Bilstein sports shocks off 325is fits 51mm strut housing. Ride was too stiff so went a different route. $300 obo

1984 and 1985 models - Must check the outside diameter of the front strut housing. Housing must be 51mm OD.

The B8 Sport shock is well known to BMW enthusiasts, as it provides an improved handling and response and a firmer, more planted feel on the road. Each shock and strut features Bilstein's monotube gas pressure technology, valved for better handling and spirited road feel, delivering a sporty ride while retaining remarkable comfort. And all four dampers include Bilstein's Lifetime Warranty, guaranteeing the longevity and performance for years to come.

This set is specifically for the E30 rear wheel drive models, which include the 1984-1991 3-series 4-door sedan, 1984-1991 3-series 2 door coupe, and the 1987-1993 3-series convertible. You can use this Performance Plus (Sport) shock set on models like the M3, 318i, 318is, 318ic, 325, 325e, 325es, 325i, 325is, 325ic for the model years 1984, 1985,1986,1987,1988,1989,1990,1991,1992,1993.

The Bilstein B8 Sport shock is ideal for cars with a lowered suspension, and works great with most lowering spring manufacturers (such as H&R, Eibach, and others). These B8 Sport shocks are about 20mm shorter (about 0.75 inch shorter) than a stock E30 shock, making them less likely to bottom out with lowering springs, and making them ideal for cars lowered 1-2" from their stock ride height. (For lowering beyond that, please call us for guidance.)

Would these pair well with vogtland springs?
