Hey Guys, I am in need of a discontinued part for my automatic top. The bolt and nut pictured connected a moving lever to the frame – this lever, when pulled or pushed, raised or lowered the back window so the tonneau cover could open or close. As you can see this bolt and nut have separated and the sleeve on the black nut, which the silver bolt screwed into, is now gone. Without the silver piece locked in, it just keeps falling out when I raise or lower the top, rendering the automatic cycle useless.
According to Realoem, the silver piece is part number 8 in the diagram (54318134533) but it’s not clear what part the black piece is. I think it’s part number 9 which Realoem classifies as a rivet (54348129595) and unfortunately, it’s discontinued. I have searched all across the internet and nobody is selling this piece. I went to Home Depot and bought a bolt and nut that are about the same size, but the bolt head and nut stick out of the sides which catch on other parts of the frame as the top raises or lowers so I can’t jerry rig this.
