VIS are really not that bad. Everyone talks about how they don't fit right, but all you have to do is a little creative adjusting of the hood, and it fits fine. I've seen several in person, and they look just fine. The only kinda shitty thing is they're CF overlay on a FG core, they aren't solid CF. Still seriously light, though.Comment

what exactly is meant by 'creative adjusting?' for some reason i dont think a hammer and a block o wood would come in handy when dealing with a cf hood lol

No, you may have to adjust grilles, and fenders to meet gaps, and/or run m3 evo hood seals.Comment

Not even the grills, just adjusting the position of the 6 bolts at the front that hold the hood to the bracket.Comment

seems simple enough. the cheapest ones i have seen for sale have been those VIS hoods.
as far as the cf overlay on glass, thats not a big deal to me, as long as structural intergrity isnt sacrificed which it doesnt seem like it would.
