The front bumper is held on by two nuts in the front and one screw on each side (going into the fender). The air dam should remove with the bumper and can then be removed from the bumper by a number of bolts/nuts. It will be very evident once the bumper is off the car.

cool, it bolts up just like the E30 M3 then right? are the nuts behind the rubber strip?

Yes the two nuts are behind small square covers in the license plate trim.
