Thank you. Those are for a 4 door with out the tilt function. I know someone with a touring that they would look amazing in! Those are the seats though and they look awesome!

thanks but thats not them...

I know the real E30 recaros are tough to find. I know Greg and AJ have a few sets but not sure if they are for sale. I reupholstered a set of Alfa Milano seats and they are very close to what you are looking for. You might start looking for a set.

The quick run down is:

I have been looking for a set of these seats for a while but it seems they are all in Germany. I contacted a well known upholstery shop in Germany that has done a lot of work on e30s including for people on this forum. I told him i wanted a set of e30 recaro seats and then i wanted him to recover them along with an m3 rear seat and door cards. He agreed and said for me to pick out the seats on ebay.de, bid on them then forward the payment info onto him. I did. He sent me the total for the seats and to start the stitching. I paypaled him. Never heard from him again. I contacted the seller for the seats. He said he wouldnt ship to the US so he filed a non-paying bidder strike against me and claimed he had another buyer for the seats which I am pretty positive is my upholsterer. I contacted ZMBlueDevil who offered to lay the smack down. I ended up getting my money back from paypal BUT I STILL WANT THOSE DAMN SEATS.

I believe these are it. According to the seller they were installed in his BMW 02', so you'll have to swap the E30 rails back. He says he bought them 10 yrs ago.

getting closer but not quite right...

Just so everyone doesnt thing I am crazy. There were a ton of these on ebay.de like 5 months ago and I bought the nicest set. Then were then basically stolen by my upholstery shop. Since then I havent seen another set. errrrrr... Here is a pic of the seats that I had but never saw in person
