There were two kinds, black and silver and they have to match the ICV computer in the car.

It's the silver one. so how do i confirm that it matches the ICV computer in the car?

do i have to check the ECU? i will have the car by monday, the guy said he blocked it using a "penny", and now the car idles alittle bit high!

Not the ECU, ICV has it's own little brain box, it's green and is under the dash on the passenger side. I was just trying to say that you would want an ICV to match the one you have in the car, so if you have a silver one that's the one you should look for :)

I've heard of the penny trick, maybe needs cleaning? I could never get my m10 to idle right even with new gaskets/hoses, different ecu and icv/box, new injectors.

well he said...when you start it in cold weather, you have to hold the throttle in until the car fully warms up..since we have really cold days here, and the temp could actually get below -30c so i would rather solve this problem right now that having to deal with it in the stupid cold, you know.
