I would buy these new from Pelican parts. I think they are like $10 bucks each. But well worth to buy them new.

I'm looking for the right side trunk hinge (passenger side) out of a post 6/89 build vert - these cars have 2 trunk shocks vs. the earlier models one. Can you get me the hinge and bottom mounting plate from the later model car? The two trunk shocks too, if they are still good. Part # to see what I'm talking about in RealOEM: the hinge (41 62 1 935 692), the strut mounting bracket (41 14 1 935 693), the struts (51 24 8 103 118).

      Let me know - thanks!

Hadn't thought of Pelican, but Bavauto said you have to buy the whole damn assembly including the flap like 40 bucks each. i just need the little clip in hinge...

Patrick, could you check and see if the boot lid shocks are any good? Mine are completely shot and they are like 50 bucks each new.

FYI can't find those little hinges at Pelican. Did find the support struts for the boot for 29 bucks a piece though.

When i replaced mine I had to buy the whole assembly - the clip isn't in the BMW parts system by itself!

Gents, I've got a '90 325ic with the two hinges and will be picking up a '91 318ic on Tuesday when I get back to San Diego.

Let me know if you need any cabrio parts.

I can probably get whatever Ben can't. Since he is buying whole cars and parting them, I'd rather see him recoup his investment first, then I can scrounge up what is still needed.

I just go scavenge from the ones at my local JY, and it gives me an excuse to grab more for myself.

I will not have much forum access for the next week- email is best if you still need parts.

patrickhenry at gmail.com, or PMs are fine (I can read them on my BB).
