even will 5" springs the adjusters spun all the way down would make the rear sit higher than desired

Really? My old 5" springs had me dumped on the old boosted car with only half way adjusted. I'm guessing the springs sagged, because the new springs on the 335i (still 5") make the car sit about an inch higher. Nothing crazy though.

Are you suggesting rocking the 5" springs with no perches? I'm not sure that would fly with 10" wide wheels.

thats what I plan on doing. As long as you dont have any wheel lift situations they should be fine. The adjusters dont do much for holding the springs in place. Just get the proper spring pads from IE and those hold the in place very snugly

At $12 per spring pad (and IE suggesting 4), it's better to fork in a few extra bucks and get the perches at $20 from GC.
