just got an account today so im gonna nose dive right into what ive been looking for. im really interested in lowering my vert a good bit to get rid of that ugly front wheel gap.ive got a good connection for shocks and struts but not lowering springs. im willing to swing cash or a full e46 m3 exhaust or cash+exhaust, depending on the drop id get.i was told that the cab. and the coupe have diff. springs in the rear. i wanna get these knock off "dropzone" springs cause its the drop i want,so if your not interested could you please check this link to see if these would work. thanks. p.s. i know im a cheapass. http://www.slickcar.com/productdetai...ProductID=7350

I don't know anything about dropzone, only that you get what you pay for! I have also been looking for my 318ic, and hear is what I've found, that is made for the car.
Intrax 20.1.004 1.6/1.2 drop f/r
B and g 08.1.009 1.4/1.4
Suspension techniques 65267 1.4/1.4
I don't know anyone who has used these, so I am not sure of the quality/firmness, but I think any of these is ok.....
Tunershop sells Weitec springs, which I have not heard much about... -

I took the springs out my 91 vert and put them into my coupe with no issues. Only difference is vert springs are a little stiffer to make up for the extra weight of the verts. Non vert springs will probably be a bit softer on a vert and make it drop lower.Comment
