WTB: Fuel line on top of fuel tank + clips + grommets

I'm replacing the tank in my '88 325is because it was leaking. When I pulled the tank I found that the hard line on top of it, that's not part of the tank, has a good bit of rust as well. I'd like to purchase this line if anyone has one for an '88 and up fuel tank. I'd also be interested in the 3 black clips, provided they're not broken, that hold this line, and the egr line, to the line that is attached to the tank. Lastly one of my grommets that goes in the tank mounting hole is ripped pretty bad. I tried to order one from Pelican and they would had have to come from Germany and I didn't feel like waiting 3+ weeks. So if you've got the line and clips I'd take a grommet or two as well.

I've attached a picture that shows the line laying on top of the new tank and the clips are in a pile next to the sending unit on the left. The line goes from the fuel pump then down the side of the tank to the fuel filter area. For a REALLY big pick click here.

I can not find a part number for the fuel line or clips so I'm hoping someone has a used one laying around that is in better shape than mine. Please PM or e-mail me a price shipped to 40353. Thanks.

Bump... Still looking for these pieces. I've gotten all the suspension work done I need to do and want to throw the tank back in before putting the rear subframe back in the car.

      Parts for tank

Try www.realoem.com they show parts on top of tank. I have a 1988 325is. Im wondering why you have two sensors I only have one with the fuel pump and gas sensor together. Looks like you have a newer model tank.
      Thanks,
      Barry

Neither realoem.com or pelicanparts.com have that fuel line and clips as a separate part.

From what I've read the '88 models are bastards depending on production date. The change over was a production date of 9/87 from what I've read. Before that and your '88 model is more like an '87 model. After that your '88 model is more like an '89 model.

Of course my build date is 8/87 but for some reason I had the newer tank and when I replaced all of the coolant hoses everything was the newer style and not the '87 style. Although I still have the '87 style 3rd brake light in mine. I think they just used up old parts and all of the old parts were gone by 9/87. I don't think they just switched everything one day at the factory. I work for a company that makes brake lines for many different manufacturers and we do the same thing, run out of the old stuff before starting the new stuff unless it's a safety issue we're fixing.
