    Super-eta cluster - Coding plug

I need just the coding plug that goes in the super-eta ('88 325) gauge cluster. I don't need any of the rest of the parts, just the coding plug.

If you've got one, please PM and let me know! Thanks.

I'm using the eta plug in my seta tach, and the tach doesn't work at all. It goes up to just above 2k and stays there.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal with it is. As soon as I turn on the key, it just jumps up there and doesn't move until I shut the car off.

I have seta coding plug in my 318is cluster with the m50 swap and it works fine. Therefore I think it is safe to say any 6 cyl 325i coding plug will work with your seta... I think.

                  I don't think that's a correct assumption.

I actually don't know. I can't find it in RealOEM, the only thing that comes up is the ones for a 528e, and it's a different shape.

Someone from E30Tech just sent me one, but it turned out to be just another plug from a standard eta cluster, ending in 1 385 580. He says it came out of a seta cluster, but when I put it in mine, it doesn't work. Still need one!

It's located in the front of the cluster, in the bottom. It's right behind the black plastic bezel that goes around the cluster lens.

That sucks... I'm in the same situation. I have a 325i plug, and need a 325e. If you want to get rid of one of those Eta plugs, pm me how much to 78751. I will keep my eye out when I am at the yard.

I have a few plugs. What is the "typ" # for a seta?
There was a thread with a link to a breakdown somewhere but I can't find it.
I know late model m20b25's were typ 46.

                              EDIT: found it... here
