    WTB: Early Euro Valence thingy

I'm looking for part #7 in the diagram below (the long thin piece):

I thought it was kinda funny how the valence fit when I test fit it.
Then I happened to be looking at Scabzzz's and Japandrew's threads about euro bumpers and realized what I was missing.
I can't believe that I have EVERYTHING (including BRAND NEW CORRECT FOGS, wat) but this!

Please send a price! (shipped to 20619, Southern Maryland)

Thanks! (double thanks to Scabzzz andd Japandrew for OUTSTANDING documentation)

I think that thing is about 80 bucks new from Blunt.

Alternatively, you can get it from any diving board car pre-1986 switchover.

Yeah I was gonna say, the US early one fit just fine on my early euro valence.

^^ yup. I was going to do the same, but got too lazy and just dremeled the lower part of my early-late US valence off to get the right piece.

No, you have an 87 DB valence, which is one-piece.

Okay, looked at the stock one that I took off.
I suppose I could dremel it off, but I'll just get the piece since it's available.
No sharp edges for me to take fingers off with...
My e30 is 9/85, but has a one piece US valence. No fender/grill link.
Are you telling me that an earlier early US car has #7?
Seems they're not that hard to find. Thanks, guys.

The valence you took off is not originally from your car if your car is 9/85. The switchover to one-piece valences happened in 6/86. Any stock US valence earlier than 6/86 will have the piece you're looking for.

                  Good luck!

I was blind, but now I see. Thanks guys!

I learn something new about my car every day. I love how frankenstein it can be, and you'll never know...
