    Is this it?

Is this what you're looking for? Is it the thin black trim piece below the fog lights/air dam? This is a '91 325i. I don't know if it would be a direct fit...

I spent awhile looking for one, you're better off buying one new. I just bought one from ecstuning for $150 shipped with the clips. The best price I could find. GL

          Tampa E30...

So what's the difference between an 'i' lip and an 'is' lip? My parts car is a '91 325i (the green one above), but my sig pic is an '88 325is, but the lips look the same to me (see this link: http://www.slapdashracing.com/The_Car.html). The '91 and '88 front ends look the same to me, but the '88 has a thin spoiler/wing on the deck lid, 13-button OBC, sun roof wind deflector, and sport seats, etc.

I'm relatively new to the E30 game (I bought my first in Sep. '08).

          Thanks

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

I think that the 'is' that I bought was really an 'i' made to look 'is'. It had all the 'is' bits, except for that lip, but when I was pulling apart the dash for the rally conversion, I noticed it had been worked on before, as in everything was loose and the screws/connections weren't original/tight. So I am wondering if they had added the 12/13-button OBC, trunk spoiler/lip, etc.

No real worries, as I'm selling most of those anyway.

                Thanks again for the info.

                Cheers

$150 shipped for a brand new is lip w/ clips is a good deal. your not going to be able to find a used one for much cheaper unless it's all f***ed up.

+1 I searched around for awhile too. Tischer used to have the best price but the supply is starting to dry up and now a lot of companies are raising their prices.
