Not sure if the elements are still available from the dealership; finding a used set? I highly doubt it. most burn out on the seat cushion and need replacement. the material needs to be lifted off to get to it. PITA to replace. No one in their right mind is going install heated seats and not use them. At least I wouldn't. Price them out at the dealer. If you manage to find a used set. You are taking your chances because if you install them and they roast shortly after you're back to square one. Better off finding a set of seats and just dropping them into your car. Get the wiring if you don't have it to retro fit your car for heaters. it's plug and play for almost everything on e30's

        good luck.

I have a set of cabbie seats with the elements and switches. They aren't perfect and have been used for my winter interior to save my black leather sports. I can send some pics if you're interested. Shipping wouldn't be exactly cheap, but definitely manageable.

I remember seeing aftermarket replacement heating elements for 100. Can't remember where. May have been on VWvortex

I have an extra set of switches. Do you need the center console, too?
Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!

I've got 3 or 4 switches and an entire, uncut wiring loom. One of the connectors for the seat side plug is cracked, but it still powers up and connects just fine. Pm me.
