Not sure if you're looking for an i or e engine but there's a guy in Acton with a 325e 5 speed parts car. It has no title but I think he wants $250. You could keep the motor and sell the 5 speed parts and make money.

We're looking for an I motor. Or maybe an M50, but I'm betting that would be a bunch more work.

Which one of the blowed up E30s were you?

Our 2.7 held on for the whole race, but started r3vlimiting at about 3,800 rpm toward the end. Turned out to be the neg batt cable shaking off under the high speed vibration....discovered the problem/solution when we were loading it on the trailer to go home

Maybe a super eta that we could combine with our blowed up I parts? Part the old one to cover some costs?

Or we may just fix the spun rod bearing with some cheap parts if we determine that's all we need...

Whatever is cheap and fast and hopefully somewhat reliable!!! :)

That's a great price and we could have a "free" motor if we sell of 5speed swap...
