    WTB: 24v stuff, suspension

    looking to buy:

    electric fan setup, compatible with m42 radiator & m50

    e28 motor mounts (which ever are correct for 24v swaps, i think its 535 or m5?)

    some sort of 24v intake setup. need the intake boot and some extenders.

    24v exhaust mani/ headers

    spider hose for the m50

    a front wheel bearing for a late model 318 (not sure if it matters)

      nvm50 doesn't use a red label 413 does it? I thought it was a 403?

          nv = non vanos and non vanos m50's don't have EWS.

          I have a low miles rebuilt small guibo driveshaft with good center bearing and serviceable u-joints for $275 shipped. If you aren't aware stock ujoints are not removable so if a joint goes bad it's new driveshaft time. Now if one of these joints fails down the line it's 10 or 20 bucks.

          I also have a good working shape non rebuilt shaft with no bad joints for $140 + shipped, tell me if either sounds good and I'll get pics

            thats what i thought . the 413 is for a vanos motor
            the non-vanos i have seen use a 403 ecu.

              oh well the 413 reb label should work fine with the m50, being as they're almost the same motor.

                i guess i'm missing something. the 413 controls the vanos unit. i would think that the vanos unit would throw a code for not having one, plus the cam profiles are different.
                just my .02 I'd figure out which motor you have and find the proper ECU for it.

                          i'm just going with what i saw on a NVM50, so if the 413 will work, good luck.

                          Just trying to help.

                          The 413 was used on the vanos motors, so the cam profiles are different, and the lack of a vanos will affect perfomance.


                          just trying to keep you from going the wrong direction.

                          i'd triple check your souces just to make sure. Also everything you read on the internet isn't necessarily true......
