Well. I sold a cluster that had around 110,6xx miles on it. I need it back, or I need a cluster with <111K on it. VDO/Motometer, I don't care, as long as the gauges function, and the SI board is ok, and the price is reasonable.

just buy any vdo cluster because the odo will likely actually function. then take the speedo apart and set in whatever mileage you wish. if you buy a u.s. motometer, the odo isn't going to work unless someone already replaced the gears.sigpic

the si boards are interchangeable except for the really early clusters. you can put the late style motometer si board in a vdo unit. for example, i have a motometer si board in my vdo e30 m3 cluster. try to get a board that has the two small batteries. they seem to last better. i have taken apart so many e30 clusters in my day. i also have several si boards laying around that i think are good if you need one.Last edited by flyboyx; 04-01-2010, 05:13 AM.sigpic
