WTB: Gland Nuts for Bilstein Sports

    Hello r3v,

Just like the title states, I am looking for the gland nuts that come with Bilstein Sports when you buy them new. I bought mine used, so they didn't come with them.

I need a pair that are compatible with my 91 318i.

    Thanks

    -Kyle

You need to check the thread pitch on the strut. Bilstein has both 1.25 and 1.5 thread pitch gland nuts. Screw it up, and you might just snap the end off the strut, and end up with an expensive conversation piece. Are you using camber plates or stock strut hats? Stock hats just use a nylock nut, and if you have the thread pitch and diameter (M8, I think), you can pick some up at an worthwhile hardware store.

Thanks for the help, but I placed an order through getBMWparts.com a few hours ago.

Just double check everything. All Bilstein Sports are not created equal.
