M60 and Drivetrain Wanted!

Basically, who's got a v8 e34 without a body? :)

I'm looking for a complete engine, manual transmission, subframes, suspension, diff, basically everything to power the car except the car itself. ANY parts you have would be appreciated, it will hopefully be going in a custom built track car. Let me know what you have. Parts DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRETTY, just functional. Cash in hand.

no its not....if your going to do it get a 4.4l with a set of 4.0l nv heads....
if I was going to do it over again I would have gone bigger...

I have brand new bosch knock sensor, brand new graf water pump with metal impeller+o-rings+gasket, brand new continental AC belt, and bosch heater control valve all for M60 B40.

stay away from those N62s... I keep seeing cylinder head problems over 100K. Either the secondary air passages get plugged or... the valvetronic levers and guides etc get worn beyond spec. They just dont seem to have the longevity potential as the M6x series do.

My brother will sell you a complete running 1995 E38 740il with a good M60B40 (alusil) in it for $3500 :D Runs great and I already did the valley pan, intake seals and valve cover gaskets.

I appreciate the offers! Just lucked out though on CL with a couple of 540's going for under a grand due to crapped out transmissions... Just gotta check the state of the internals, but the sellers claim them to be in good running condition. Inline sex (...nice name hahaha) that is an awesome link, would definitely have gone with that if I hadnt found these and shipping wouldn't kill me. If I buy one of the 540's all that I'll need is a tranny (the ones are the cars are autos so it doesnt bother me that they're gone). Speaking of which, what are all the transmissions that will directly bolt up to the M60B40? I wanna say the B30 should as well, but have not heard confirmation. Also someone told me the trans from the M30B35 works too, but I have a hard time believing that as its not anywhere near the same block. Lemme know guys!
