WTB: Black (late model) door trim

    Hey,

Looking to buy some late model door moldings for my coupe. Looking for something in decent shape, but let me know if you have anything. Price will be based on quality, of course.

    PM me with details!

    Thanks!

FYI, if this is for your early model the rear quarter panel pieces will not fit.

I've been told many times that it would....

The trim I have was originally chrome striped and pained over by the previous owner. That paint is now starting to chip away. What do you suggest as a remedy?

Yes, mauritius blue. I'm going to be doing a photoshoot soon but I have a thread or two with photos from a year or two back, have a look for em.

I'd be getting new, but sadly she's going to be on the selling block soon. I'm moving to a new city and a car will not be needed there.

The rear trim is not the same length on early vs. late model cars. There is a pn for an all black rear trim for an early car though...i had to special order it and you can find it on realoem.

Haha, sorry I never meant to say that you were wrong... only that I've asked a few people in the past and been told it was the same. Good to know otherwise now.

So I guess... buy the pieces? Or find them off an early model car?

I just looked it up... interesting, so I get the single piece for the rear part of the trim for the early model, and then get the middle and front pieces from late model cars?
