Wow, that's disappointing to hear they stopped making the M striped knob inserts -- both for the early and late shift knobs. I just bought one a few months ago.

I think they might still make the early model ones. I am going to send BMA an e-mail and see for sure.

The early M knob insert is listed as 'ended' in the parts book, but my dealer confirmed there are 250+ in the US and are not NLA in the updated parts book.
