I have one new - bought by mistake and never used it.

    My original cost was $111.20.

Will sell for $95 + shipping.

Need help. I looked under my car when I was replacing the muffler and noticed that this bracket is attached to the transmission but not to the catalytic pipe. It seems that it could easily be attached to it if a single bolt were used but for some reason or other its not. Any ideas why? Does it simply prevent all the exhaust piping from sliding forward (as a stop) rather than fixing it in place?

there is a rubber bushing with a bolt going thru.
the bolt slides into the slot in the exhaust ... prevents/cushions exhaust movement
