WTB: Factory E30 radio unit

Hey all, I'm looking to replace my unit because my old one's amplifier is toast. On a side note, is the amplifier in the radio separate or integral?

Anyways, I really want to keep the function of my car the same so I want a radio that has the infrared touch adjustment.

if you have premium sound then the factory amp is in the trunk, above the left wheel well next to the antenna. If its a standard unit i think the amp is in the head unit.

^ pretty sure its just the stock one. I don't have premium speakers but I do have the stereo with the touch adjustment. Its hard for me to say because I have a 325i but it has extra goodies that I'm not sure were added by a PO or were asked for from the dealership like a LSD and such...

^ hey yeah thats exactly what I want. I replied to all PMs, let me know if I missed yours.

Basically I'm sold either way if somebody can take a picture of the radio in mind with the code in the shot and the time stamp. Its the only way I can think of that will prove its legit. Sorry but I'd like to minimize my chances of getting screwed, I'd love to trust ya but it IS the internet after all...

OK, so unlike what lots of people seem to think, I have not seen every possible radio configuration in E30s...but i have never seen a car that came with a slider deck that DIDN"T have the factory amp.

Pull that left trunkliner and look for the amp. I bet you have one.
